MODEL 20 - UPRIGHT SEAT - top of 3 pictured NASCAR, Busch, Sprint, Midget, Quarter Midget, Drag, Modified, Bandalero etc. Sportscars including Porsche, BMW, Corvette, Honda, Viper etc. Marine applications including UIM and Drag Boats. MODEL 30 - SEMI RECLINED SEAT - middle of 3 pictured Formula Mazda, Atlantic, Infiniti Pro, Barber Dodge, IRL, C/D Sports Racer, Formula 1 and similar. Some marine applications. MODEL 40 - RECLINED SEAT - bottom of 3 pictured The Model 40 is a rare application and fits extremely reclined seats such as Vintage FF. MOST PEOPLE WHO BUY A 40 RETURN IT FOR A MODEL 30. Please measure your seat (use an angle meter available at DIY-type stores) before ordering. Only available in Professional models 2. NECKSIZE The width of the HANS® collar is sized to fit your neck or shirt collar size. Up to 12 1/2 Inches - Size Extra Small(XS) 13 to 14 1/2 Inches - Size Small (S) 15 to 17 1/2 Inches - Size Medium (M) (Called size REGULAR on some models) 18 to 20 1/2 Inches - Size Large (L) Above 21 Inches - Size Extra Large(XL) So a person with a 16"" neck driving a Corvette would use a HANS® 20M. It's as easy as that! 3. HELMET ANCHOR INSTALLATION The HANS® attaches to your helmet via two metal anchors. 85% of our customers install their own anchors - all you need is a 1/4 inch drill and measuring tape. Devices come with instructions plus a special installation tool. 4. PROFESSIONAL OR EXTRA VERSIONS Some models are available in lightweight (Professional) and regular (Extra) versions. The only difference is weight - there is no performance difference between the versions.
