Carbotech Spec Miata Racing Brake Pads


This is one of those things where you have to decide whether or not to keep a good secret in your pocket or share it with everyone else. And we've always decided to share. These Carbotech brake pads are the hottest combo going right now at the front end of the field. The best set up with Spec Miata's is the XP10 in the front and the XP8 in the rear. We almost always put a less aggressive pad in the rear for brake bias reasons. It really gives the car a real good balance feel, and as a result the driver has more control of their race car. People are reporting dropped lap times from .2-.5 seconds a lap vs the Hawks. And that's not from the back of pack, but true front runners. I think brakes are a very personal preference item, so I'll leave it up to you to decide what you think, and then let me know. It's a small price compared to other things everyone is doing to pick up that kind of speed. iCard iCard Pro Wireless Scoring System


GameBoy not included The iCard‚Ñ¢ Pro System, when connected to an automated Timing and Scoring (T&S) system, receives its information for view by team members and fans. The T&S system consists of a transponder that is attached to each car and which transmits a unique ""signature"" such that each time the transponder passes over a timing loop a signal is sent to the T&S computer indicating that the car has passed the timing loop. The T&S computer then calculates the time, marries the transponder signal with a competitor name and car number, and records the result lap after lap. The T&S computer, as a normal part of its operating function, generates an output stream of messages and it is this data stream that the iCard‚Ñ¢ computer program receives. Consequently, the iCard‚Ñ¢ system simply passes information from the T&S system to your handheld iCard‚Ñ¢. The iCard‚Ñ¢ System consists of the following elements: * The iCard‚Ñ¢ software that receives the Timing and Scoring information and prepares it for broadcast * iCard‚Ñ¢ transmitter and antenna that sends the iCard‚Ñ¢ broadcast * iCard‚Ñ¢ receivers that receive and decipher the iCard‚Ñ¢ broadcast for display on a Nintendo Game Boy The iCard‚Ñ¢ system transmits information very fast, with data prioritized and sent in this fixed order: * Leaderboard information * Driver Page timing results * Scrolling message updates * Menu page and Driver Page information other than timing results As a result, the iCard‚Ñ¢ system accommodates instantaneous updates, even in events featuring 30 or more competitors. Current Session The Timing and Scoring system calculates competitor results differently depending on the session currently scored. Practice and Qualifying Sessions: competitor position is arranged with the fastest single lap by a competitor within an entire session determining that competitor's rank among in the field. Default display information is as follows: * Leaderboard: overall rank/car no./best lap time/gap from overall leader * Driver Page: overall rank/rank in class/last lap time/gap from overall leader Once a session is complete and one the T&S Administrator begins a new session, the final standings of the existing session are moved to the ""Previous Session"" page and accessible from the main menu. Race: competitor position is arranged in sequence by the current track position. When a competitor is a lap or more behind the leader, the gap is calculated and displayed as the number of laps behind. When a competitor is less than a lap behind the leader, the gap is displayed in seconds or minutes and seconds (e.g. 12.834 seconds or 1:23 minutes and seconds). Race Engineering Spec Miata Clutch


Well, SCCA finally outlawed these things for Spec Miata, but they are still legal for Improved Touring and NASA racing!!! Bob Thornton and the Race Engineering group have given us the exclusive on this incredible Spec Miata clutch. Let me just say they are nice. The weight is less than 4.5 lbs.!!! actually more like 4.2 Stock Miata clutches are over 9lbs, and the current hot set-up is somewhere in between. I just bought 10 more of these and got a good price break and am passing the savings along to you, now only $595. Moss Motors Heat Insulating Intake Gasket


Hondata has developed a special high temperature insulating gasket which replaces the stock intake gasket. The Miata manifold is heated in up to 5 places - From the cylinder head, the cold idle valve, the idle control valve and the throttle body heater. Hondata’s new gasket coupled with bypassing several heat sources significantly reduces the transfer of heat from the cylinder head to the intake manifold and incoming air giving you up to 5% more power. The intake manifold is made of aluminum and because it is heated by the cylinder head from combustion and coolant, it works to increase intake air temperature by as much as 75° F. In fact, for every 5° F rise in intake temperature, air density drops 1%. The hotter the air, the less fuel the computer injects to compensate for reduced oxygen. Around town, testing has shown an average drop of around 20 degrees F which is good for a 3 percent power increase. In certain conditions a 50° F drop has been measured. The Heat shield gasket kit contains an insulating gasket and installation instructions.

Moss Motors Jackson Racing High Flow Fuel Pump


When you make more power, you need more fuel. In a standard normally aspirated car, the stock fuel pump delivers just enough, plus a little extra. As the pump ages, it may no longer be able to deliver its full rated capacity. When you add a supercharger, you need more fuel at a higher pressure. Odds are that your stock pump will not meet this demand. The result is a dangerously lean running condition. There are plenty of generic pumps out there, but only the JR High Output Fuel Pump has been specified to deliver the correct amount of fuel.
